VITREOUS ENAMELLING (DIN 4753) in steel tanks, designed for DHW production and storage, is considered to be one of the best solutions for affording “food quality” protection of internal tank surfaces in contact with hot water.
The technology with which the new CORAL VITRO series is manufactured includes a chemical-multi-stage tank pre-treatment process that ensures maximum enamel adherence across 100% of the surface area.
The type of enamel used is a state-of-the-art product that is applied to the tank after the entire surface, has been chemically treated by means of a system that ensures penetration into every corner of the tank with completely uniform thickness however complex the internal structure of the tank may be. Likewise, the system totally eliminates any gas bubbles that may remain in the coat of enamel.
The significant evolution that has taken place both in vitreous enamelling materials and their application processes has made many systems still in use today out of date (commonly-used systems such as the “double layer” or “vacuum vitrification” are processes aimed at preventing natural defects in this type of tank lining that are caused by a lack of suitable preparation of the metal surface to be treated, as well as the limitations of some earlier materials and procedures used to apply them).
Its DESIGN features the incorporation of new, high performance conical coils that are built geometrically into the tank, thus ensuring there are no cold zones left where bacteria such as Legionella may proliferate.
ENERGY SAVING, of maximum importance for the end user, is an intrinsic reality in our new “CORAL-VITRO” series. Given the way it is applied as well as its insulating capacity, the thermal insulation used minimises heat loss and gives this tank unrivalled hot water storage capacity. This translates into “real cost savings” on each litre of water used and amply fulfils all relevant EC standards and regulations currently in force.
Its environmental compatibility is guaranteed, as the insulating material is completely CFC and HCFC free.
