Tanks in the GEISER INERTIA series, are designed for exclusive use as buffer tanks in closed heating or cooling circuits. Made of carbon steel, the storage tank includes all necessary hydraulic connections to build facilities with energy storage or thermal inertia and are especially suitable for renewable energy applications, where storing energy is an essential factor for the effective functioning of the system.
Especially noteworthy are our "L" models, with THERMAL STRATIFICATION capability. These models 800, 1,000 and 1,500 litre capacity tanks include a built-in thermal stratification system which allows for precise and simultaneous use of the stored water at the right temperature, thus preventing different water temperatures from mixing inside the tank. This leads to significant energy savings compared to conventional energy accumulators, as several energy sources can be used for a single tank with water fed in at different temperatures, as well as enabling the accumulated water to be used simultaneously for DHW and / or conventional heating, under-floor heating, etc.
The entire range of the GEISER INERTIA series and tanks with the THERMAL STRATIFICATION SYSTEM have built-in heating coils, which enables heat exchange circuits to be separated from the main circuit, e.g., a direct solar heated circuit (without an intermediate plate heat exchanger).
ENERGY SAVING is another of the factors to which special attention has been paid in the design of this product. Its thermal insulation, thanks to the way in which it is applied and its insulating capacity, minimises heat loss from the tank, affording it unrivalled hot or cold water storage capacity. This implies a “real cost saving” on each litre of water used and amply fulfils all relevant EC standards and regulations currently in force.
The tanks are guaranteed as environment-friendly thanks to the insulation material being totally CFC and HCFC free.
