Spanish regulations:

Tanks with a capacity of over 3,000 litres:
• UNE 62350-1: Single wall tanks.
• UNE 62350-2: Horizontal, double steel-steel walled tanks.
• UNE 62350-3: Horizontal double steel-polyethylene walled tanks..
• UNE 62351-1: Single wall tanks.
• UNE 62351-2: Double steel-walled tanks.

Cuboid above-ground tanks of up to 2000 litres’ capacity:
• UNE 62352 

European regulations (EN):

• EN-12285-1: Underground tanks
• EN-12285-2: Above ground tanks

The tanks featured on this page are tanks that conform to Spanish UNE standards. Please consult us regarding tanks conforming to European standards, other regulations, vertical tanks... Tanks are built of rolled steel plate according to European standard EN 10025. They have built-in stiffeners under the manhole to protect them from impacts by the dipstick.

CERTIFICATION

lapesa supplies all its tanks with an inspection cetificate according to UNE standards. At the customer's request a coating porosity test certificate can be issued bylapesa. 

SURFACE FINISHES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

On request, we can supply a 2mm thick polyurethane finish for underground tanks. Interior finishes for aggressive contents. Special interior treatment for storing ad-blue.

Our catalogue depicts a wide range of models with capacities from 1000 to 120,000 litres inclusive, with various options and accessories for each lapesamanufactures single and double wall (steel/steel or steel/polyethylene) tanks, for installation above or under ground, compartmentalized ... please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

ACCESSORIES

On request, we have a number of accessories to facilitate and complete installation, such as collection pits, lids, anodes for cathodic protection, leakage detectors, level control equipment, pre-fab hoods, twin closure foot valve (own design), ground mooring, liquid transfer equipment, etc.

TRANSPORT

We run our own fleet of different-sized trucks, all equipped with loading crane and handled by highly specialized personnel to ensure optimal service in the transportation and handling of your new tank. We can lay the tank inside a pit provided the surrounding terrain allows for adequate truck positioning. To protect tank linings during transport, they are delivered on support cradles that prevent the tank from rubbing against the ground. Our trucks do not have high sides that could damage the tank.

INSTALLATION

Under no circumstances does lapesa install tanks. Tanks must be installed by duly qualified installers as demanded by regulations:

• UNE 109500 IN: Above-ground installation of cuboid steel tanks.
• UNE 109501 IN: Installation of steel tanks above ground or in pits.
• UNE 109502 IN: Underground installation of steel tanks.
